Wedding Photographer in Billericay, Essex (Yes, This Is the SEO Page)
Hello, Google. Hello, couples.
This is my SEO page. Every wedding photographer has one. Most pretend they don't. It exists because the internet needs telling, repeatedly and in plain words, that I'm a wedding photographer in Billericay, Essex.
There. Google's happy. Now for the bit you actually came for.
Who I am, and how I photograph a wedding
I'm Derek. I've been photographing weddings from my base in Billericay since 2010. That's hundreds of weddings across Essex, London and the rest of the UK.
My approach is simple: more laughing, less posing. I blend in like a guest who happens to have a few cameras. I'm watching for the bear hugs, the happy tears, the speech that goes slightly off-script and the dancefloor at 10pm.
You'll get a few relaxed portraits too, without a two-hour photoshoot while your guests drink without you. I shoot on digital and 35mm film, so your gallery gets a bit of nostalgic grain alongside the crisp stuff.
If you want your wedding to be a celebration with your favourite people, rather than a photoshoot with a party attached, we'll get on.
Essex venues I know well
Being local means I know these places before I arrive. Here are a few close to home.
Friern Manor, Dunton. A personal favourite. [Derek: one line on what you love here, e.g. the gardens or the evening light.] Ask me about the Twilight package, built just for this venue.
Leez Priory. A Tudor house with a courtyard, barns and lakes, so there's no shortage of places to wander. [Derek: one honest tip for couples here.]
Gaynes Park. [Derek: one line on the venue.] See Victoria & James's day for how it looks on digital and film.
[Derek: a Billericay or Brentwood-area venue]. [One line.]
[Derek: a barn venue you rate]. [One line.]
Not getting married in Essex? I travel anywhere in the UK, and travel is always included.
What it costs
Wedding photography starts from £995. No "enquire for pricing" mystery here.
Travel anywhere in the UK is included. A £295 booking fee secures your date. Albums, prints and canvases are available as add-ons.
It's just me on the day, no second shooter. You'll know exactly who's turning up.
[Derek: add a line on any current offer, e.g. midweek or 2027 Friday discounts, or point to the Pricing page.]
Questions couples actually ask
Do you only photograph weddings in Billericay? No. Billericay is home, and I cover Essex, London and the whole of the UK. Brentwood, Chelmsford, Basildon and Southend are all practically next door.
Will you make us pose for hours? No. Expect a short, relaxed portrait session, then I'll give you back to your guests.
Why 35mm film? Because it looks lovely and feels like the photos your parents keep in a shoebox. It sits alongside digital, so nothing gets missed.
Can we meet first? Yes. A video call is the easiest way to check we're a good fit before you book.
How far ahead should we book? [Derek: your honest answer, e.g. how far ahead popular Saturdays go.]
You made it to the end
Congratulations, you've read an entire SEO page. Most people don't. That tells me you're thorough, a little curious, and probably planning a brilliant wedding.
If you're getting married in Billericay, anywhere in Essex, or anywhere else in the UK, I'd love to hear about it.
P.S. Google, if you've made it this far: wedding photographer, Billericay, Essex. Thanks.
