This image is from a recent wedding day at Wat Tyler country park. When I'm at a wedding I like to take my couples away from the main party to capture some intimate portraits. I find this approach works really well and the feedback I receive backs this up. Wedding days are all over far too quickly, time really does fly by! I remove my couples from the main party for only around 10 or 15 minutes and will do this a couple of times throughout the day. This way, they are not missed for too long, they can really enjoy their day and these pockets of time become really precious. It's a nice time out to spend some quality time with each other and to have some great moments captured. Removing the bride & groom from the main party for an hour or so at a time is crazy, the day soon becomes and feels like a photo shoot and I feel the main point of the day is lost.
