Gemma & Mark | Wat Tyler Country Park | Pre-Wedding Engagement
Gemma & Mark are getting married later this Summer at Wat Tyler Country Park. I had never been to the venue before and was keen to have a nose about so we decided this was going to be the location for their Pre-wedding session. It’s a lovely venue, the wedding ceremony will be taking place in a beautiful 18th century thatched barn and the reception room is light, spacious & modern, lots more info here… http://www.wattylercountrypark.org.uk/. Gemma & Mark have some lovely ideas & beautiful plans for their wedding day. Towards the end of the session we got talking about photo booths and about all the fun props that can be used… tiaras, moustache on a stick, Timmy Mallet specs, inflatable guitars etc… So cutting a long giggly story short, I’m really excited to now be offering a ‘Photo booth’ service;)!! I can’t wait, it’s gonna be brilliant! Check out the beautiful Gemma & Mark, a great couple & very much in love!

Hylands Park Essex | Pre-Wedding Engagement Photography
I arranged to meet with Gemma & Rob for their pre-wedding photo session at Hylands park, Essex. Hylands park is beautiful and vast, 500+ acres of landscaped parkland. It’s a great setting for Hylands House, a stunning Essex wedding venue. We met up late Sunday afternoon, the timing was perfect as it had rained heavily earlier but the Sun was definitely wearing his hat for us. We decided to explore the surrounding gardens of Hylands House, pausing briefly to grab some portraits every now and then. Keeping these sessions relaxed is important for me, I’m looking for natural unforced expressions and i also want my couples to really enjoy the experience. That’s the most important part, to enjoy the experience… Check out the happy couple!

Gemma & Rob will be getting married this summer at Boreham House, Essex. It’s a venue I’ve not yet worked at but from everything I’ve seen and read it looks absolutely fantastic and I’m excited to be their chosen photographer! I can’t wait, it’s going to be a great day! Vicky & Chris are getting married at Langtons House in Hornchurch this summer. We thought it would be a good idea to use the location for their pre-wedding shoot. This gave Vicky & Chris an opportunity to explore the gardens and make themselves familiar with the venue as well as getting to know me a bit more. Ria’s portrait session took place in the comfort of the family home. I like to keep my newborn sessions minimal, without the use of big lights and props. There is nothing wrong in using props… toys, big hats etc… I just like the natural expressions & movements to be the focus, they are more than beautiful enough. My only requirement is a good source of natural light, a big bedroom/living room window is normally ideal. I set the scene, observe and make sure I’m ready to capture those moments!

I arranged to meet with Lisa & Chris at Bedfords Park in Havering-atte-Bower for their Pre-Wedding session. I don’t think we could have picked a colder summers day! It had been lovely and sunny until we met up, unfortunately then the temperatures dropped and the wind picked up. We still had a great time and managed to get some beautiful shots before it got too cold for Lisa & her handsome little boy Kai. I’m really looking forward to Lisa & Chris’s wedding day later this month and hopefully it’ll be a little warmer…

Lia & Mark are getting married at Gaynes Park this coming July. I hadn’t been to Gaynes Park before so i was keen to have a nose around and familiarise myself with the venue. We decided to combine my little tour with their pre-wedding session, which worked out really well. The venue is stunning, Lia & Mark have every detail planned out and will have a fabulous day. The pre-wedding shoot was all about us getting to know each other a little more and for Lia & Mark to get a feel for my directions and arm waving. We got along great and have some beautiful images from the session… Check out the happy couple!

Eastbury Manor House | Wedding Venue
Tina & Lee got married at Eastbury Manor House in Barking. This was a wedding i had been looking forward to for ages and it didn’t disappoint! Tina & Lee are a beautiful couple, they are so in love and their energy is infectious. I can’t help but feel bubbly & positive in their company. I need to bottle it and get my fix for when my energy levels dip!! The day flowed along lovely, very relaxed and clam. Absolutely no dramas;)! Tina even arrived at Eastbury Manor House around 10 or 15 minutes early, looking absolutely stunning as you’ll see shortly! I find myself saying it all the time, but I honestly mean it when I say it was an absolute pleasure.
Eastbury Manor House
Eastbury Manor House is a stunning wedding venue located in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in Greater London. I found the staff to be welcoming and really helpful and would have no hesitation in recommending the venue. I’m familiar with Eastbury Manor House as i was once a member of Barking Photographic Society which uses the venue. Go and check them out if you have an interest in photography, BPS. Eastbury Manor House has an interesting past, I’m sure I’ve read somewhere before that this was the location where Guy Fawkes plotted to blow up parliament! READ MORE
