Siobhan & Kurt | Wedding Day | The Roslin Hotel
Siobhan & Kurt got married on a bright sunny day in Essex. The wedding took place at the St Mary the Virgin Church, located in North Shoebury. The church is great and The Revd Ian St John Fisher was fantastic, allowing me to document with no restrictions.
The Roslin Hotel | Essex Wedding Venue
After the ceremony we grabbed a few group shots before heading off to The Roslin Hotel. The Roslin is a beach side hotel located in Thorpe Bay. It’s a beautiful Essex wedding venue, with helpful polite staff.

Along with the final images I’m now offering the option of having a slideshow put together. This would be made up from the final images that best represent and tell the story of your day. These images can be selected by me if you find the task daunting, 60 to 70 images works well for a 4 minute video. Meet Charlie!! this beautiful portrait was taken at around 8 weeks old… Charlie still looked tiny and super cute with his gorgeous eyes. Here are a couple from the session…
This was a natural light portrait session that took place in the comfort of the family home. All that is required for me to work in the home is a small amount of floor space and a good source of natural light.
Summer Days | Portrait Photographer Essex
Here Comes the Sun | Portrait Photographer Essex
Sunny days can feel like they are going to last forever, make sure they do by having some beautiful moments captured in camera.
The aim of my portrait sessions is to capture part of your personality, the real you. There are no forced smiles, no crazy naff poses that looked daft in the 80′s and only worse now
& no big intimidating lenses. What i do offer is a relaxed approach, subtle direction & a promise that you’ll really enjoy the experience. The portrait sessions take place in the location of your choice. I would recommend somewhere that is familiar, comfortable and/or a location that means something to you. Sound good? Check out the portrait gallery and if you like what you see pick up the phone or send an email;)

What a great way to start the working day!! spending a morning with a young family and their new arrival. It had been a while since my last newborn session and WOW i didn’t realise how much I had missed them. I absolutely love newborn photography and it makes a lovely change to wedding photography.Baby Harrison is only 5 days old, they change so quickly in the first days & weeks it’s a great idea to have some moments captured and cherished forever. Here are a couple more of my favourites from the session… a beautiful father & son portrait followed by super cute toes…
How I Work
I make use of available light and the newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home. I document all the tiny details, little fat rolls, tiny toes and the wonder of a newborn. I try not to stage my photos, i prefer to wait for those natural unforced moments. I do involve mum & dad and give them some direction, then wait for that natural unguarded moment.
